Shubhungi and Drove’s Indian wedding in Glendale, Arizona was a beautiful celebration filled with color, tradition, laughter, family, and unforgettable moments. From the energetic Mehndi and Haldi celebration to the grand Baraat, Hindu wedding ceremony, and reception, Mina Studio was there to capture the complete story through both Indian wedding photography and cinematic videography.
As an experienced Indian wedding photographer and videographer in Phoenix and Glendale, our goal was not simply to take photographs or record the events. We wanted to document the atmosphere, the traditions, the people, and the emotions so Shubhungi and Drove could experience their wedding day again for years to come.
Day 1 – Mehndi & Haldi Celebration
We started the first day at the bride’s home in the morning, capturing getting-ready moments, family interactions, wedding details, and candid photographs and video before the celebration began.
Once family and friends arrived, the Haldi ceremony brought an entirely different energy. The bride and groom were covered with yellow turmeric as part of the traditional Indian wedding celebration, with family members taking turns applying Haldi to them.
What started as a beautiful cultural tradition quickly turned into one of the most fun and memorable parts of the wedding. Family members and friends got involved, everyone was laughing, and the bride and groom ended up covered in Haldi.
Our Indian wedding photographers and filmmakers captured the entire experience—from the traditional moments and individual family interactions to the laughter, playful chaos, and colorful details.

Day 2 – Baraat, Hindu Wedding Ceremony & Reception
The second day began with one of the most exciting traditions of an Indian wedding—the Baraat.
Drove arrived on horseback as his family and friends danced and celebrated around him. Starting from the parking area and making their way toward the ceremony, the Baraat was filled with music, dancing, laughter, energy, and family celebration.
Mina Studio photographed and filmed the Baraat from multiple perspectives, making sure we captured the groom's entrance, the dancing, the reactions of family and friends, and the excitement leading up to the ceremony.
At the venue, Shubhungi's parents and family were ready to welcome Drove and his family before the Hindu wedding ceremony began.
Hindu Wedding Ceremony & Family Portraits
The ceremony took place at Glendale Civic Center in Glendale, Arizona, where the couple exchanged vows and participated in the traditional Hindu wedding rituals led by the priest.
We carefully documented the important parts of the ceremony while also capturing the smaller moments happening around the couple—the family reactions, traditions, details, and emotions.
After the ceremony, we photographed Shubhungi and Drove's bride and groom portraits, followed by family photographs with parents, relatives, and friends.
Our approach is to keep portraits organized and efficient while still giving couples time to enjoy their wedding. We want the photographs to feel elegant and natural without turning the celebration into a long photo session.
Indian Wedding Reception
The reception began in the evening with a beautiful grand entrance for Shubhungi and Drove, followed by their first dance and an evening filled with celebration.
The night continued with wedding speeches, heartfelt toasts, cake cutting, dancing, family celebrations, and plenty of fun on the dance floor.
Our photography and videography team continued documenting the reception as it naturally unfolded, focusing not only on the couple but also on the people who made their wedding meaningful.
For us, these real moments are what make a wedding film special—the laughter between friends, parents watching their children, emotional speeches, spontaneous dancing, and all the little moments that couples may not even realize happened on the wedding day.
